PENTECOST SUNDAY 2019 – JUNE 9
As pastors and ministry leaders, there are dates on the church calendar which hold great significance and shape the messages we share. They also influence what we pray and believe for, as we seek to align our work with that of the Spirit. With Pentecost
Sunday soon approaching , we encourage you to challenge your congregation to a deeper walk with the Spirit. The Spirit is at work all across our nation, and around the world. Let’s prepare ourselves in anticipation of a powerful move of
the Spirit in our local congregations, today and every day. As we live lives that are fully and actively engaged with the Spirit, may those around us not only see and hear but also experience what it means to live a Spirit-empowered life.
Here are some Pentecost Sunday resources we would like to make available for you to consider in the lead-up to this special day as you prepare your sermon content, or that you can also share with your congregation members for their learning and application.

Marie Miller
Lead pastor of Pickering Pentecostal Church, also has some material from her Re-Ignite series (attached as a PDF document) which we appreciate her making available to the wider PAOC family.

Miracle Invasion by Dean Merrill includes modern examples of spiritual gifts in action and true stories that will rekindle expectation that the Holy Spirit is alive and well, working in our time, on our continent, whenever we welcome His presence. In Miracle
Invasion you will see that God is at work for your good—today! This book contains stories from members of The Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA), an association of denominations and networks across Canada, the U.S., and
Mexico with the motto of “demonstrating unity in the power of the Spirit.” Dean Merrill is a former magazine editor and writer best known for his award-winning collaborations with such Christian leaders as Jim Cymbala (Brooklyn Tabernacle),
Wess Stafford (Compassion International), and Gracia Burnham (Philippine missionary hostage survivor). This book includes Canadian testimonies, some of which are our very own PAOC stories.
