National Indigenous Peoples Day - June 21, 2023

June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day. An occasion to be used to learn more about the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

Please celebrate with us the good things that Christ has and is doing within Indigenous brothers and sisters across the country and to pray for continued good news!

Four ways churches can observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Starting this year, Canada will have a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. The new federal statutory holiday honours the survivors of residential schools as well as their families and communities. It’s an opportunity for all of us who call Canada home to reflect, learn and act.
