Rev. Paul Israelson

District Superintendent – Saskatchewan

Rev. Paul Israelson

Paul was born in the small town of Amisk, Alberta (AB), raised on the farm, but sensed a call to ministry at a young age. After Bible college, where he met his wife, Tammy, he interned at Wainwright Pentecostal Assembly (AB) and returned a year later to serve as their youth pastor. In 2000, they moved to Caronport, Saskatchewan (SK), where Paul began taking an M.A. in Christian Ministry (Worship emphasis) at Briercrest College and Seminary. In 2002, they moved to Regina, SK for Paul to serve as the Assistant Pastor at Avonhurst Pentecostal Assembly. In 2012, they were on the move again, this time with four kids in tow, to Swift Current, SK (Family Community Church) where Paul served as lead pastor.

Aside from serving one term as an appointed member of the SK District leadership team, Paul has often led worship at many district events and camps. In 2017, Paul was elected to serve as the Assistant District Superintendent followed by his election as District Superintendent in 2019.
