An Update from the Executive Officers Regarding General Conference 2020 - March 24, 2020

Christian greetings colleagues and friends,

As a result of understandable actions by the Nova Scotia government and the Halifax Convention Centre, we are now able to officially confirm that our onsite General Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia is cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. We will be finalizing our contingency planning for an online General Conference with the General Executive this Thursday, March 26. 

Registrants will begin to receive notifications of cancellations of hotel reservations and should plan to cancel or adjust their travel arrangements as well. Refunds will be provided for the on-site conference registration and new registration instructions will be provided shortly for the projected online conference. Please continue to protect Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in your calendars for such a probability.

We continue to trust the Lord for His wisdom, protection and presence as we all continue to navigate these challenging times which also come with kingdom opportunity. Our churches, ministers and the communities you serve remain in our prayers. Pray with us for God’s divine intervention in our country and around the world.
