PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of November 9, 2020

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from the PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

REMEMBRANCE DAY
We honour the memory of Canadians who have lost their lives in military service and ask God to continue to strengthen and encourage those still in mourning. We honour our veterans and pray that God will continue to grant them emotional healing and support and provide for their physical needs. We pray that God will continue to grant strength, wisdom, protection and favour to those currently in service, and encouragement to their families.

UNITED STATES
Pray for the people across the United States after this past week’s Presidential election. Pray that people will not be divided against one another and that God’s peace will reign throughout the country. Pray that the upcoming months will be an incredible time of reconciliation and understanding among families, friends, neighbours and others who have been separated on the issues. Pray also for opportunities for the gospel to spread and that people will find encouragement and hope in Christ.

Michel & Louise Charbonneau
HAITI
Praise God that the average weekly attendance has been 1,400 at the church that Michel and Louise began for children and youth. Pray that thousands more children and youth will be reached for Jesus, and pray also for the national leadership succession plan for this church. Pray that God will lead Michel and Louise in evangelism at the various schools they visit. May God call more men and women to be involved full time in ministry. Pray also for more healings and miracles, and for God’s glory to be seen in Haiti.

WORLDWIDE
Pray continually for God to intervene in the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which has infected more than 50,266,030, and killed nearly 1,254,570 people around the world.1 Pray for healing for those infected, and comfort for those who have lost loved ones. Ask God to strengthen and protect frontline and essential workers and to grant peace to their families who are concerned for them. Pray that, as many countries begin to ease restrictions, their economies will respond well and new infections will be limited. Pray for extra protection for people in developing countries who are already malnourished and more vulnerable to this disease. Pray also for the hundreds of PAOC global workers who have remained in the country of their calling, serving their communities and displaying the love of Christ throughout this global pandemic.
