PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of August 3, 2020

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from the PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

PERSECUTED CHURCH
Over 200 million Christians around the world are persecuted for their faith in Jesus and are silenced through physical attacks, acts of humiliation and harassment, limited employment opportunities, and more. Please continue to pray for strength, perseverance, faith and peace for those impacted, and for spiritual breakthrough in those regions where the gospel is suppressed.

Paul & Paula Bradbury
SENEGAL
Pray that families will be changed and the cycle of poverty broken through ChildCARE Plus sponsorship. May the church and Christian schools continue to grow, and may God bring peace and continued political stability throughout Senegal. Pray also for Paul and Paula’s safety while they travel around the country.

WORLDWIDE
Please continue to pray for God’s intervention in the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected more than 18,142,715, and killed nearly 691,020 people around the world.1 Pray for healing for those stricken with COVID-19, and comfort for those whose loved ones have passed away. May God continually strengthen and protect frontline and essential workers. Pray that, as many countries are easing some restrictions, their economies will respond well, and there will not be a second wave of the virus. Pray for protection and provision for people in developing countries who are malnourished and more vulnerable to this disease. Pray also for PAOC global workers who are remaining in the countries where they have been called to minister, and who are continuing to serve their communities with excellence during this global pandemic.
