BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT

Pray for everyone attending “Momentum,” the church planting retreat being held from January 31 to February 1 at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly in Abbotsford, B.C. May each leader be inspired and practically equipped with the best practices of church planting. Pray that it will be an uplifting and encouraging time as people share ideas with each other and hear from the speaker on how to lead or consider planting a multi-site congregation.

 

WESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

“2020 Firehouse” is being held on February 10 at Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby, Ontario. May the local church leaders who are attending be encouraged and equipped as they learn how to minister even greater in the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray that their abilities will be strengthened, and may God use what they learn so that they minister even more powerfully. Pray also that they will build deep connections with each other.

 

Ryan Stockert

CANADA

Pray for Ryan, a Mission Canada worker, who has responded to the call of God on his life to reach into the film and entertainment industry in Calgary, Alberta. He is building a community called the “Underground” that gathers to support one another and study God’s Word. It is intended to be a safe environment, away from lights and cameras, where those in the industry can be introduced to a relationship with Christ, discipled and then equipped to reach others. Pray that Ryan can shape Canada’s culture by making Jesus known, and for hearts to be opened to receive as God’s Word is shared. Pray also for those who come to faith, that they will then share Christ’s love and forgiveness with others in the industry.
