Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

KENYA

Flooding from heavy rain this past weekend has killed at least 60 people in Kenya, with seven others still missing. Pray that God will comfort everyone impacted, especially those who have lost friends and family. Pray also that many people will have opportunities to hear and receive the gospel following this tragic event.

QUEBEC DISTRICT

Pray for all the credential holders and their spouses who will be attending the “Couples in Ministry: Overcoming the Challenges” event at Laval Christian Assembly in Laval, Quebec on November 29. May they be inspired, refreshed and blessed as they take time to learn how to improve their marriage relationships. Pray that the connections these couples share with each other will deepen as they move forward to spread the gospel through their churches and communities. Pray also for the speakers as they prepare for this night.

PAOC CHURCHES & MINISTRIES

May God prepare our churches and ministries across Canada for a great harvest this Christmas season. Pray that congregation members will continue to grow in their understanding of the Word, in their relationship with God, in their relationships with one another, and in their passion and desire to reach their communities for Christ. Pray that many Canadians will encounter God and the gospel in fresh ways and decide to follow Jesus, and that they will be empowered by His Spirit. Pray also that pastors, leaders, staff and volunteers who serve will be encouraged and strengthened, and that God will grant them wisdom in planning services and activities with a tremendous spiritual impact.

Jeffery & Akiko Sonnenberg

JAPAN

May God bless and guide Jeffery and Akiko as they serve and minister to the people around them in Japan. Pray for the church multiplication network in Kumamoto, a city on the western island of Kyushu that was badly hit by earthquakes in April 2016. Pray for wisdom as Jeffery and Akiko are part of a team that is in the process of developing and launching a leadership development program focused on young leaders who are in their twenties. Pray for wisdom and discernment as Jeffery looks deeply into the changes that have happened in disaster area churches after the great 2011 northeast Japan earthquake. Pray also for God's ongoing provision and protection for their family.
