ONTARIO

A tragic van attack took place in Toronto on Monday April 23, which killed 10 people and injured 14 others. Pray that God will grant comfort and peace to everyone impacted, especially those who have lost friends and family. Pray for physical and emotional healing for the survivors as they recover from their injuries. Pray also for more opportunities for the gospel to be shared, and that God will draw more people to faith in Christ.

GENERAL CONFERENCE 2018

Pray for everyone attending General Conference from May 7 – 10 in Victoria, B.C., that God will grant them encouragement and clear direction as they worship, pray, and share ideas with each other on reaching their communities for Christ. Pray also that, as they celebrate the upcoming centennial of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada by considering pictures of our past, the present and into the future, they will be inspired and motivated in their missional focus.

SYRIA

A recent chemical attack and a severe food shortage are still leaving thousands of Syrians at risk of death or starvation as conflict between the Syrian government and opposition forces continues. Pray that God will grant comfort and hope to those who are mourning the loss of loved ones. Pray that food, shelter and medical assistance will reach those who need it most. Pray also that peace will be restored throughout this nation and for God’s care and protection for the people of Syria, including those who have been displaced as a result of the war.

Stanley & Kimberly Harris

CANADA

May God pour out His favour upon Stanley and Kimberly, Mission Canada workers in Southern Ontario, as they minister to Indigenous Canadians. Pray that, as new Mission Canada workers, they will have prayer support and that God will guide and bless them with wisdom as they serve Him. Pray also that God will provide for the various family needs that they have.
