PAOC INDIGENOUS LEADERS GATHERING

A gathering of PAOC Indigenous Leaders will take place from May 10-11 in Victoria, B.C., following General Conference 2018. More than 1.6 million Indigenous Canadians need to be reached with the good news of Jesus Christ. Pray for our ministers and leaders to unite under a common national vision to see reconciliation continued, evangelism take place on a larger scale, and growth of our national network. Ask God for an increase of workers and leaders to grow the Indigenous work across the nation with Holy Spirt-empowered impact. Pray also for revived and new kingdom works in rural, suburban and urban contexts across Canada in the years ahead.

ALBERTA & NORTHWEST TERRITORIES DISTRICT

Pray for the women who will be refocusing, reflecting and finding spiritual refreshment at BASEcamp, being held at Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre in Birchcliff, Alberta, from April 20 to 22. Ask God to inspire and encourage them as they connect with one another and with Him.

EASTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

Pray that God will do incredible work in the lives of the women attending the “Be Amazed” conference at King Street Church in Oshawa, Ontario, from April 20 to 21. Pray that the Holy Spirit will change their lives in a powerful way as they grow deeper in their walk with God and pursue His purpose for their lives.

QUEBEC DISTRICT

Pray for the women attending the Women of Vision “Embrace Your Destiny” conference, organized by the Quebec District at Église Vie Abondante in St-Hubert, Quebec, from April 20 to 21. Pray that, through this weekend, God will unite these women together as they fellowship with one another. Pray also that He will equip them with His vision to be able to reach their communities for Christ.

Tarrant Cross Child

CANADA

Pray for Tarrant, a Mission Canada worker, as he ministers to people through the Child of the Cross Running Clinics, a platform that he formed to train and coach younger runners. Pray that God will speak through Tarrant at the speaking engagements he is involved in. Pray that alcohol and drug abuse would cease and that the high rates of suicide would decline within indigenous communities. Pray also that God would reign in indigenous communities as people turn to Him and find hope and purpose in Christ.
