CANADA
The Mission Canada Campus Summit 2.0 is taking place this week at Braeside Camp in Paris, Ontario. Pray for God’s blessing and Spirit-empowerment on campus ministry workers and that they will be encouraged and receive clear direction from the Lord as they worship Him, pray together and share ideas. Pray that thousands of students will be reached with the gospel based on decisions and connections made. Pray also for safety and protection for everyone attending.
CANADA – QUEBEC
Please pray for the staff and congregation of Carrefour Chrétien de la Capitale in Quebec City, Quebec, which was destroyed by a fire on Saturday night (June 3). Praise God that no one was injured, but the building sustained significant damage. Pray that God will guide the church staff as they make plans to continue their ministry and preparations to hold their services elsewhere. Pray also that the congregation will sense God’s peace and be encouraged during this difficult time.
ENGLAND
Pray that God will comfort the families and friends of those killed or seriously injured in the two recent terror attacks in England. Pray for physical and emotional healing for survivors, and that opportunities will be opened for the gospel to be shared. Pray that God will move in the hearts and lives of all those involved in planning the attacks so that they turn from darkness to the light of Christ. Pray also for wisdom for government authorities seeking to prevent future attacks.
Kelvin & Laura Chan
THAILAND
Pray for boldness, favour and courage for Kelvin and Laura to serve where God is leading them in their community. Pray that God will encourage and strengthen the people whom they are working alongside. Pray also that God will provide for the dreams that He has placed on Kelvin and Laura’s hearts.
