The PAOC Missions Hotline is a weekly communication of prayer requests that may include PAOC global workers, Mission Canada workers, district or constituency prayer needs, and current Canadian or international news events and related needs. Week oF FEBRUARY 6, 2017

UKRAINE

After two years of peace, the civil war in eastern Ukraine has reignited. More than 9,750 people have been killed since fighting first began in 2014, including 35 people who were killed last week. At night, during the constant bombing, the temperatures reach -20° C. Please continue to pray for God to bring peace to Ukraine and that all conflict will be resolved. Pray that God will provide for the needs of the people and comfort those who have lost loved ones in the fighting. Pray also that God will encourage and guide the PAOC global workers and their families who reside and minister there.

 

CANADA

Please pray for all of the youth who will be attending the YC Alberta conference in Red Deer, Alberta, from May 20-22, 2017. Pray that God will prompt many youth to attend for the first time or once again, and that He will remove any obstacles to their attendance. Pray that He will prepare their hearts to receive all that He wants to accomplish during the event. Pray that many seeds will be planted in these young people’s hearts and that their lives and their families’ lives will be impacted for eternity. Pray also for the speakers and music artists as they prepare for YC Alberta.

EURASIA

Please pray that God will bless David and Lina with wisdom and guidance as they minister throughout Eurasia. Pray also for the completion of contract negotiations to build environmental projects that will create jobs and serve their local populations through corporate social investment and ministry.
