Seven Questions For Reggie Neeposh - Life Lessons From The Former Chief Of The Oujé-bougoumou Cree Nation
Reggie David Neeposh is a husband, father, grandfather, Chief of the Oujé-Bougoumou Cree Nation in Northern Quebec for one term during 2011 to 2015, Chief Executive Officer for Ouje-Bougoumou Enterprises Inc. since Fall 2016, and presently the senior lead pastor of the Oujé-Bougoumou Cree Pentecostal Church (Jishemundo Mijwap). The Oujé-Bougoumou people have overcome incredible obstacles to be recognized as their own unique Indigenous community. Reggie has been part of a team that has built an award-winning community including: the United Nations “We the Peoples” Award; Habitat II: Best Practices Award; Expo 2000; Canada Mortgage and Housing Award; and Global Citizen Award.

The roots of Aboriginal Bible Academy (ABA) can be traced way back to 1978. Then known as National Native Bible College, its original purpose was the training of First Nations Peoples to become effective communicators of the gospel. Fast-forward 40 years later, and that mandate has not only continued but expanded so the academy could better serve all Canadian Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) with the purpose of preparing them for effective Christian ministry.
