Worship Pastor (Part time)

We are looking for an energetic individual to join the Worship team at Langley Campus. This is a part-time position (30 hours per week). Responsibilities include assisting the Associate Pastor (Gather) by facilitating a climate of worship primarily during the Sunday morning gatherings. Key functions involve assisting with the planning of services, coordinating volunteers in the worship department, and resourcing and scheduling key services and events. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, lead and work with teams, handle multiple tasks, have good written and verbal communication skills, problem-solve, as well as understand music arrangement, vocals, song writing and recording, and appreciate and maintain a broad range of music styles. Preference may be given to applicants with Bible school and musical training, who also have proven experience in leadership, supervision, and budget management. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to and work effectively within variety of diverse situations Problem Solving: Ability to review situation, organize the information, identify some key factors and suggest/generate solutions. Relationship Building: Able to establish and build rapport with others within the overall objectives of the ministry. • Degree preferably in theology with major in music. • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, education and/or training. • Ability to play various musical instruments. • Previous leadership, supervisory and budget experience.
