Who you are: Are you a creator? Video editor? Love content creation and marketing? If you are currently a student, one of these roles could be a fit for you! The length of this contract, subject to government approval, has typically been 8 weeks for 35 hours a week, and can be completed remotely
The Social Media Creator will assist the Social Media Coordinator and Mobilization Lead with the implementation of content. They will assist in developing, cataloguing, scheduling, and tracking digital interactions for the engagement and mobilization of future partners, volunteers, and employees. They will use multiple digital programs (e.g., Canva, Teams, Adobe, video editing software, etc.) to design, develop, schedule, and update materials. This role will also complete video editing tasks for social media reels and other video projects. The individual will learn project management skills. They will research, design, and keep up with trending ideas that will work within our organization's framework to develop future leads and foster engagement. The individual will also be responsible for tracking social media analytics and suggesting strategic initiatives to further improve engagement.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for these positions, you must:
• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible participants. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
