Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

NORTH AMERICA
The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters within the member fellowships of the Pentecostal Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA) in their stand against racism and injustice. We pray for peace in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd and for genuine solutions to emerge as we work with others towards racial reconciliation, biblical justice and mercy. The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, in conjunction with the PCCNA racial reconciliation and unity commission, will provide a comprehensive communiqué this week to highlight redemptive attitudes and actions needed at this time. Please check www.paoc.org regularly for more.

SUMMER CAMPS & VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, overnight camps will most likely be cancelled across Canada for the entire summer. Pray that day camps and vacation Bible schools will still be able to take place. Pray that, when they do happen, many people will encounter God in a new, fresh and loving way and decide to follow Jesus, and that they will be empowered by His Spirit. Pray that God will bless people involved in organizing the camps with wisdom, and use them in making a tremendous spiritual impact. Pray that all of the staff and volunteers will be encouraged and strengthened. Pray for the health, safety and protection of everyone participating in the programs. Pray also that the camps that are not able to operate this summer will be able to endure financially.

WORLDWIDE
Pray continually for God to intervene in the spread of COVID-19, which has infected almost 6,273,000, and killed more than 379,000 people around the world.1 Pray for healing for those infected, and comfort for those who have lost loved ones. Ask God to strengthen and protect frontline and essential workers and to grant peace to their families who are concerned for them. Pray that, as many countries begin to ease restrictions, their economies will respond well and new infections will be limited. Pray also for extra protection for people in developing countries who are already malnourished.
