Location: Serving various countries in Africa
Michael and Sheila visit various African countries to teach in Bible Colleges and to preach in local churches. Michael and Sheila enjoy moving from the classroom to the community of the local church in order to share God’s life-changing Word with congregations which are pastored by college students or recent college graduates. Michael and Sheila are passionate and intentional about assisting emerging African leaders—men and women—in the exciting process of discovering, deploying, and developing their ministry giftedness for the glory of God and the health of Christ’s Church.
Michael and Sheila entered ministry with the PAOC in 1984. Michael has served as lead pastor of three churches in Ontario—in Parry Sound, in Smiths Falls, and in Hamilton. Michael and Sheila have served in four African countries as Global Workers with the PAOC: Liberia, Togo, Zambia, and Kenya. Michael and Sheila’s prime emphasis in each of these countries has been that of Bible College ministry. However, Michael also served as an interim pastor of a local church in Ndola. Michael and Sheila have also, in the spirit of Matthew 25:34-36, been quite active in various humanitarian-type ministries on the African continent In maternity wards (Sheila), prisons (Michael) and primary school classrooms (Sheila).
