We Need Your Help for Thailand

A Message from Travis Holownia of Resurgence

Bangkok, Thailand

In just a few days we will be hosting “A Miracle in Suphan Buri” in Thailand on March 20–21, a two-night gospel festival that has already begun stirring something remarkable in the region.

A team of 16 from Resurgence is traveling with me. Throughout the week we will be ministering in universities, schools, churches, and through gospel trucks across the province, all leading up to the festival.

The team members have each raised their own travel funds, which has been amazing to see. But Resurgence is funding the entire gospel outreach itself on the ground.

When everything is included, this outreach will cost close to $85,000.

Many have already given generously and helped get us close to our total budget, and we are so grateful. But because of some increased costs on the ground and still not met our total budget, we are currently about $10,000–$12,000 short as we prepare to leave.

I try not to make urgent appeals. But as I prepare to board the plane tomorrow, I felt I should simply share the need and invite those who feel led to help.

What is happening in Suphan Buri is remarkable.
Local churches across the province have come together in unity.

Over 200 volunteers have mobilized.

More than 20,000 tracts and invitations have already been distributed.

Across the province, dump trucks, scooters, and cars are driving through the streets announcing the outreach on loud speakers.

Ten radio stations
are talking about the event.

There are prayer walks and prayer marches happening throughout the city.
And people are already responding.

Already just under 160 people have given their lives to Jesus simply through the outreach and invitations leading up to the festival. This is in a province of about 900,000 people, where many have never heard the gospel clearly before.

Pastors keep telling us the same thing.  -  “This feels different.”

There is a real hunger, and it feels like a moment God has opened.

We booked a Basketball Arena but the team has now moved the event to a parking lot. Stages, sound systems, LED walls, portable washrooms will all be moved in. We hired over 100 buses to bus in people from remote villages.  We are putting everything into this outreach with excellence.

Why?

Many of the people who will come to this event have never heard the gospel clearly before.
This is a least reached area, and the hunger is real.
When I hear stories of people asking about Jesus just from receiving a flyer, it reminds me why we do this.

Moments like this do not happen every day. This is an HISTORIC HARVEST.
And right now we simply need a few friends to step forward and help us finish what has begun.

Would you consider helping us finish this outreach strong?

If you feel stirred to help close this final gap, your gift will go directly toward the outreach itself and help make it possible for thousands of people to hear the message of Jesus.

One More Thing

Beyond this outreach, we are also praying for new monthly partners who would stand with Resurgence in reaching people, reviving churches, and releasing leaders in Canada and around the world.

If you have been following the ministry for some time, would you pray about becoming a monthly partner with Resurgence?

Even a commitment of $50, $100, or $500 a month helps us plan future outreaches, develop leaders, and continue the work God has entrusted to us.
