The World Assemblies of God Fellowship invites you to Shine! in Madrid, Spain from October 12-14, 2023. Shine! is the 9th Assemblies of God Congress, and will feature pastors and ministers from the five continents who will bring a message of hope and faith.

The Assemblies of God World Congress is an event held every three years that brings together pastors, leaders and members of Assemblies of God churches from around the world. This year, Madrid will be in charge of hosting this global event called to mark the next decade of the Assemblies of God since it is the first event after the global pandemic that hit churches and it will be the congress that will launch the Global Evangelism strategy MM33.

Also, Shine! will be the first World Congress with a specific program to address issues affecting the new generations. Youth and youth leaders are called to experience in Madrid, together with brothers and sisters from all over the world, an encounter with the Holy Spirit like never before. The Next Generation Congress is an opportunity for young people and youth leaders to understand the importance of their role in today’s world.

With worldwide growth that has surpassed 64 million members, the Assemblies of God is the largest Pentecostal Fellowship in the world. There are currently more than 160 Fellowships, including The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, that are members of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship.

The purpose of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship is to pursue the fulfilment of the Lord’s command to evangelize the lost in the shortest possible time, providing them the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel in all of its fullness. This is done by encouraging and assisting one another, promoting harmonious relationships, and seeking the most effective means of its accomplishment under the dynamic leadership of the Holy Spirit.

The Fellowship functions as a service agent and is a co-operative, non-legislative organ to the body of worldwide Assemblies of God national councils of equal standing.
