PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of January 6, 2020

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

AUSTRALIA

Almost 200 wildfires in Australia have killed at least 24 people, with some people still currently missing. Thousands of people have been evacuated, and nearly 2,000 houses have been severely damaged or destroyed. Pray that God will pour rain upon the areas so that the fires will be brought under control and that He will protect, strengthen and encourage the firefighters and first responders. Pray also that God will comfort people who may have lost their homes or loved ones and are facing an uncertain future, and that He will provide for evacuated residents.

PAOC CHURCHES & MINISTRIES

Pray for our churches and ministries across Canada as they follow up with the many guests and connections made during the Christmas season and into the New Year. Pray that those who heard the good news surrounding the birth of Christ would continue to pursue a relationship with the One who came to earth to be their Saviour and that they and their families would commit to follow Him fully. Pray also that pastors, leaders, staff and volunteers who serve faithfully would be encouraged and strengthened and would see a great harvest as a result of their ministry efforts in the month of December.

Greg & Lynne Swinamer

EUROPE

May God bless and strengthen Greg and Lynne physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally as they serve with Next Level Eurasia. Pray that God will guide them as they train and support men and women to impact their cities through the establishment of dynamic new community-engaging churches. Pray for fruitfulness and manifestation of God’s presence within those churches. Pray also for Greg and Lynne’s protection when they travel.

ALBERTA & NORTHWEST TERRITORIES DISTRICT

Pray for the youth pastors and volunteer teams who attended the Elements Youth Worker Conference at Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre in Sylvan Lake, Alberta this past weekend (January 3 to 5). May they be more equipped and empowered from their leadership skills being developed and sharpened. Ask God to continue to inspire and encourage them from their time of connecting with one another and with Him. May God use what they learned to help them grow and partner with Jesus to make an even greater kingdom impact in the lives of youth.
