Ministry Focus: For the last two years God has been stirring Sam’s heart to move into the next steps of his Journey on obedience to the great commission. After much prayer, sharing, discussing and having sense of peace, Ruth and Sam have made a decision to follow the call of God and be part of the PAOC India Missions. The Vision God has put in Sam’s heart is to be a bridge to Empower, Partner, Train and Equip next level Ministry leaders of the 1 billion Asian Indian souls.
Sam will be a part-time global worker for India missions. This involves regular travel to India to be involved in the various ministries of PAOC work under the leadership of regional director. His family will be residing in Toronto. Sam will be continuing to serve on the pastoral team of Malvern Christian Assembly on a part-time basis. Pastor Ginette Howse the lead pastor has been supportive of this new role for Sam.
This will be a tough journey to leave behind family and travel to India several times a year. But Sam along with Ruth also understand the huge task of reaching 1 billion people. I believe Canada has role to play in the extension of God’s kingdom in India. missions do not come without sacrifice. God has been urging me to be involved in this great and huge task and I want follow his leading.
Ministry History: Sam was born in Chennai, India where his parents raised him to understand the importance of serving God and serving people. In 1989 he felt the call of God for full time work. Sam graduated M.Div., at Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore in 1994. He started at New Life Church, Chennai, for a year under Rev. D. Mohan and then moved to New Delhi, India, to serve as Associate Pastor of Global Christian Life Center under Robert Jeyaraj for 13 years. He has also taught at the Central Bible College for 13 years. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Madras.
In 1999 Sam married Ruth and today they are blessed with two lovely daughters, Judith and Jemima. Ruth is a RN with the Durham Public Health. Judith is getting ready to enter the University in 2019 and Jemima is in Grade 10. In June 2007 God led Sam with his family to Toronto, to serve at Church of the Living Saviour until February 2011. In March of 2011 Sam joined the pastoral team of Malvern Christian Assembly, Scarborough as Discipleship and Missions pastor where he continues to serve. Sam along with Ruth has served 14 years in the Assemblies of God of India and 11 years in Canada. He has been part of PAOC (Eastern Ontario and Nunavut District) since 2009.

Pray for God’s favour to partner with both Canadian and Indian churches and empower and equip Indian leaders to be used in the reaching the 1 billion.
