Luke is serving as a Campus Ministry Apprentice with UCM at UBC. UCM has been an integral part of his spiritual journey throughout his time as an undergrad student. Shortly before starting his program, Luke had a transformational encounter with Jesus where he was forced to confront the inadequacy of his idols to meet his truest needs. This began a journey of surrendering those idols to Christ.

Following this transformation, UCM became a critical place to explore God's missional heart. One value God has particularly impressed on Luke's heart is His love for the kind of generational discipleship scripture teaches through passages like 2 Timothy 2:2 and Matthew 28:18-20. As Luke's degree has drawn to a close, he has felt a burning in his heart to devote the next year of his life to helping instill this value into the culture of UCM and the hearts of its members as they are sent from our community. After a period of prayer and discernment with friends and family, Luke felt the Lord's confirmation and said yes to this calling.
