Canada is a land of immigrants, and increasingly more so. The 2011 National Household Survey shows that already just over 20% of Canadians are foreign born. It also shows our Muslim population at just over 1 million, or 2.8%. The PEW Forum reports that our Muslim population will increase to 6.6%, almost 2.7 million by 2030.
Through Neighbours & Newcomers Network we seek to equip Canadian believers and congregations to reach into your own Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, fulfilling Jesus’ great command: Go and preach the Gospel to all peoples.
Today, most of us only need to step outside our door to share the Good News. Missions isn’t about physical distance, going somewhere far away: It’s about cultural distance.
