Buzikievich, David & Connie
David and Connie are the National Director and Administrator for Village of Hope - Malawi Trust. VOH is a residential facility that ministers to orphaned and/or vulnerable children in Malawi. Children from all tribes and religious backgrounds are welcomed here. At VOH, the child's physical, mental, educational and most importantly, spiritual needs are met. Our children are exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and are given the opportunity to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. It is our goal to model God's example of pure religion as stated in James 1:27. In addition to ministering to the children, we hire widowed women wherever possible to extend care to them. God has also gives us the opportunity to lead people to the Lord who have come to check Village of Hope out. People may come seeking employment, but find the most valuable treasure that God has to offer!

Prayer Request/Praise Report:
Since arriving in Malawi in March 2010, Village of Hope has grown from 43 children to 65. It is awesome to be able to minister to these children. With the help of one of our partner churches in Canada, we are opening our 9th home, which will allow us to minister to 8 more children. September 2011 brings the opening of Lilongwe Hope Academy - giving us the opportunity to bless our kids with an education that will surpass what the public schools can offer. We are looking forward to September 2012 when we will open up the school to community children.
