Purpose
There are endless opportunities for business in this rapidly developing country for those with a self-starter attitude and the ability to create opportunities! Although some of the population are Buddhist, Vietnam is unique in Asia with a majority registering as non-religious/atheist. Business for transformation or Kingdom-minded business leads to a quadruple bottom line: economic, social, environmental and spiritual uplift within communities. However, business skills are in short supply, so there is a great need for modelling effective business practices and mentoring for those just starting out in business.Skills
Business experience and background required. Experience with business start-up and ability to coach others in business practices an asset. Personal initiative, entrepreneurial mindset and relationship building skills will be needed. This opportunity is available for both volunteers (business mentoring) and those who are considering long-term engagement.Support
Orientation would be provided by the team leader including coaching, ministry and cultural orientation, and help in getting set up to live in the country.
Our Mission Global team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts.
