Seeds of Faith: Reaching the Next Gen of Leaders

Seeds of Faith: Reaching the Next Gen of Leaders

Asia’s campuses are bursting with opportunity—millions of students are encountering Jesus for the first time. Through your support, lives like Kenny’s are being transformed with hope and faith.

Asia is home to over 300 million university students—78% of whom study in East Asia. These students are not only shaping the future of the region, but they also represent one of the greatest mission opportunities of our time. Many come from countries where the gospel is rarely heard. Now, as they step onto campuses away from home, they're also stepping into a season of openness, questions, and soul-searching.

At this pivotal moment, God is at work.

In East Asia, a student named Kenny experienced this transformation firsthand. Raised in a devout Buddhist household, Kenny was no stranger to religious devotion—but a sudden health crisis brought him to a point of despair. After already losing sight in one eye, he was now at risk of going completely blind.

In the middle of this crisis, Kenny received an unexpected hospital visit from a global worker he had met through a campus ministry event. What began as a simple gesture of friendship turned into regular visits and deep conversations about Jesus. Though Kenny didn’t recover his vision, he encountered something more powerful: peace. He surrendered his life to Christ, and today, Kenny walks in faith with a renewed sense of hope and purpose.

Stories like Kenny’s are becoming more common through university ministries supported by Mission Global. Currently, five key ministries are actively reaching students across Asia—in Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and another East Asian country. These ministries offer far more than events and Bible studies—they provide mentorship, community, and a safe place to explore faith.

The impact is clear: students are coming to know Jesus, and lives are being transformed.

To continue expanding this work, Mission Global has set a goal to raise $72,000. Each $200 investment supports one student for an entire semester—providing them with consistent connection, care, and access to the gospel.

Right now, your impact can go even further. The next $10,000 raised toward this initiative will be matched, dollar for dollar.

This is an incredible opportunity to reach even more students with the hope of Jesus.
