HURRICANE DELTA
Please pray for the people impacted by Hurricane Delta in the United States. Pray for comfort and peace, that food, water and aid supplies will get to where they are needed, and that power will be restored. Pray that those who need medical attention will receive it quickly, and for strength and wisdom for all of the first responders. Pray also for wisdom for government authorities in responding to people’s needs, and that many people will have opportunities to hear and receive the gospel.

BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT
The 2020 Change Conference is taking place online this upcoming Friday night (October 16). Pray that the youth attending online will have powerful encounters with God, engage in passionate worship, and be inspired and empowered to put their hope in Jesus. Pray that God will prompt many youth to attend online, and that He will remove any obstacles to their attendance. Pray that many seeds will be planted in these young people’s hearts, and that their lives and their families’ lives will be impacted for eternity. Pray also for the speakers and musical worship artists as they prepare for their time together.

WORLDWIDE
Please continue to pray for God’s intervention in the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected more than 37,601,845, and killed nearly 1,077,800 people around the world.1 Pray for healing for those stricken with COVID-19, and comfort for those whose loved ones have passed away. May God continually strengthen and protect frontline and essential workers. Pray that, as many countries are easing some restrictions, their economies will respond well, and there will not be a second wave of the virus. Pray for protection and provision for people in developing countries who are malnourished and more vulnerable to this disease. Pray also for PAOC global workers who are remaining in the countries where they have been called to minister, and who are continuing to serve their communities with excellence during this global pandemic.
