Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

NORTH AMERICA
Pray for peace and that God will grant wisdom and understanding as community leaders, politicians, lawmakers, police, and other people work together to develop genuine and lasting solutions to the problems that communities face. Pray that there will be mutual respect between protesters and the police. Pray also for healing and restoration in the relationships between communities and the police who serve them.

WORLDWIDE
Please continue to pray for God’s intervention in the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected almost 6,913,000, and killed nearly 400,500 people around the world.1 Pray for healing for those infected with COVID-19, and comfort for those whose loved ones have passed away. May God continually strengthen and protect frontline and essential workers. Pray that, as many countries are easing some restrictions, their economies will respond well, and there will not be a second wave of the virus. Pray also for protection and provision for people in developing countries who are malnourished and more vulnerable to this disease.

Ilya & Janet Bantseev
RUSSIA
Pray that God will guide Ilya and Janet as they work to fulfil their vision to plant 200 new churches by 2030. Pray also that God would continue to bless the Teen Challenge ministry they established in Russia that is reaching hundreds of men and women who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. Pray for multitudes of Russians to come to know the Lord, and for God to raise up church planters. Pray also for God's favour with authorities despite opposition to the gospel.
