Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT

The British Columbia and Yukon District Conference is taking place this week (April 8 to 10) at Broadway Church in Vancouver, B.C. May the leaders attending be encouraged and receive clear direction from the Lord as they worship Him, pray together and share ideas with each other on reaching their communities for Christ. Pray also for safe travel for everyone attending.

WESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

Youth pastors will be attending the Spring Forum on April 11 at Gateway Church in London, Ontario. May God use what they learn to help them grow and build great teams in the youth ministries they serve. Pray that He will also use what they experience to encourage them and impart wisdom moving forward. Pray also that these youth leaders will continue to be empowered in their God-given gifts and talents to have even greater kingdom influence in the lives of youth.

EASTERN ONTARIO & NUNAVUT DISTRICT

Pray for all of the girls and women who attended the “Be Free” women’s conference on April 5 at Peace Tower Church in Ottawa, Ontario, and on April 6 at Whitby Christian Assembly in Whitby, Ontario. May they continue to feel spiritually refreshed and encouraged. Pray that the Holy Spirit continues to give them a renewed vision on reaching their communities for Christ. Pray also for blessing to extend to each of their families as a result of their time together.

Sheldon Penner

CANADA

Pray for Sheldon, a Mission Canada worker who is passionate about reaching Canadians with disabilities. Located in Calgary, Alberta, Sheldon communicates God’s unconditional love and hope for living via tablet and messaging sent to large screens. His audiences include students in school settings, youth groups and local church ministries across our nation. Pray that God would encourage and strengthen Sheldon, and that his prayer and donor support would grow as he seeks to reach Canada’s next generation. Pray that God will provide Sheldon with new opportunities to share what God has placed on his heart, even despite his own challenges. Pray for continued creativity to reach those needing to experience the love of the Father and find purpose in Christ.
