First two weeks in Newfoundland!!
We have traveled back to Newfoundland to speak to churches about God's work in Thailand. Since we have been here, we have travelled across the province from St. John's to Deer Lake to Port Saunders. We have already seen many friends and family members. We have been meeting with people, sharing in churches, and reconnecting with family and friends. We have been on the go since we landed, but it has been fun so far.
It is great to be home and to share our hearts and thoughts with the people who mean so much to us. We were in Deer Lake last week for their Sunday services to share our mission in Bangkok. When we finished sharing, they gathered and prayed over us. It was so amazing! We were so encouraged and empowered through their prayers. We are extremely grateful for praying supporters all over the world who lift us up before God and the power that comes from those prayers. It is incredible to finally connect with the people who have been supporting us this year. To say thank you face to face with these wonderful people has been the most meaningful thing for us so far.
However, for all that we are doing and all the great people we are meeting, my heart and mind are still with the amazing women at NightLight. All I can think about is how they are and what I am missing while I am here. Coming to Newfoundland has confirmed my calling to be at NightLight and the work I am doing in Bangkok. And I know that I am here to let the world know about their struggle and to give them more hope and support.
