Profile

Marg served with her late husband, Garry, for many years in PAOC missions ... Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe... and in recent years as Missions Coordinator at Christian Life Assembly in Langley, BC. While fulfilled and content (mostly) during the years of doing missions from the Canadian side, the burden and passion for Africa was never far below the surface. Trips to Africa with teams and frequent interaction with missionaries and national leaders only intensified the longing to return.


That dream became a reality in July 2006 when Marg returned to Africa as administrative assistant in the PAOC Africa Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya. She provides support to Rev. Stephen Chaloner, the PAOC Africa Regional Director and our 60+ missionary families across Africa. She also provides logistical support to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Africa (PAOA), a fellowship of our African church leaders, and is involved with TELTAC – an advisory council for theological training and leadership development.


Marg believes, passionately, that the only hope for Africa is in Christ, and in the African Church. Her role is to facilitate their God-given vision to reach the lost ... to plant churches ... to equip leaders ... and to care for those in need. While often in the office doing administrative tasks, her heart is to enable both missionaries and national leaders to bring hope and healing to the people of Africa.
