Missionaries

Did you know that we currently have over 125 missionary families under the Shared Funding Model? Compared to previous years, this is a signficant increase in missionaries on the field!

Our current missions funding approach at the International Office has played a significant role in raising the necessary finances for our team of missionaries. In our Shared Funding* approach, each missionary has an increased responsibility in raising the necessary financial support for our missions efforts. By participating in the raising of financial support, missionaries will have the opportunity to develop significant relationships with churches in Canada, both large and small. In these relationships, they will be able to assist pastors in mobilizing their churches for missions.

This model has not been developed to help us gain greater financial resources; nor has it been developed to have greater involvement by local PAOC churches. This model is really about the harvest and finding more ways to send more people into the world with the message of Christ, so that more people will come to eternal life in Him.

*The Shared Funding model, started in 2002, allows missionaries to partner with their local church body and other interested parties to help raise funds for missionary assignments.
