Last year, you gave to all eight categories, and your gifts totaled almost $44,000.

Here’s what some of our global workers shared about the difference your gifts made in the lives of those around them:

 

Missionaries: Bill and Bev Pharand, Guinea

Received $1,000 towards the set-up of a pastor’s home

“Thank you so very much for your help to these pastors, who sleep on a mat on a concrete floor with their children. God bless you.”

 

Missionaries: Hector and Ruth Aragon, Guatemala

Received $1,500 towards the William Cornelius Vocational Training Centre

“Text books, uniforms and a $14 monthly fee are a burden for many students who, although they are sponsored, live in poverty. These funds can help provide Saturday work so the students can take more pride in their accomplishments upon graduation, and those in arrears can work off their debts. We would also like to add books in Spanish to our mostly English library. Your support is appreciated.”

 

Missionary: Christina Chaput, Slovakia

Received $1,000 towards a projector/translation equipment

“This is great! We have many foreigners who visit our church—many come from Japan to manage nearby manufacturing plants. They speak English, but not Slovak. Because of your gift, we’ll soon be able to do services bilingually with this equipment. It’s a great outreach tool … thank you!”
