WHAT IS MERRY CHRISTMAS WORLD! ABOUT?
It’s an opportunity to give an offering at Christmas that will make an eternal difference around the world. The PAOC has identified ministry needs of global workers and missions activities over and above available funding. Your gift can help needy people in the communities where our workers live and serve.
HOW WILL DONATIONS BE DISTRIBUTED?
You can specify which missionary you would like your gift to go to, or you can allow us to distribute the funds to various missionaries in order of the greatest ministry need. This brochure outlines eight categories for you to consider, including a general donation.
IS MY GIFT GUARANTEED TO GO TO THE ITEM I HAVE SPECIFIED?
Last year, we made every effort to ensure that your funds were directed to the category you selected. Detailed distribution reports were posted online. Gifts given this year will also be specifically directed to your chosen category.
HOW CAN I GIVE?
You can give online by visiting www.paoc.org, by using the attached response card and envelope (in which you can enclose a cheque* or your credit card information), calling to make a donation via credit card on the phone, or by giving through a participating local church. HOW CAN MY CHURCH PARTICIPATE?
Your church can participate by setting aside a specific time to take an offering, and by contacting our order desk at 905-542-7400 or orderdesk@paoc.org to order brochures, posters, bulletin inserts and PowerPoint slides for distribution and use before the selected date.
*Please make cheques payable to The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. In the memo line, write Merry Christmas World! and the category you are choosing to give to (e.g. Shoes, Bibles, etc.)
