New from the Pentecostal Financial Services Group (PFSG)
Pentecostal Financial Services Group recently set in place a $3,000,000 line of credit with TD Canada Trust. The main purpose of this credit line is to support PFSG certificate mortgage investors in the event of a church default on interest or principal payments. However, in the 48-year history of the Certificate Mortgage program, no investor has ever lost any money. This new line of credit is a safeguard for PFSG investors which PFSG never desires to use. It is encouraging that a financial institution as large and as credible as TD Canada Trust would give such a significant line of credit to to PFSG. We believe that this demonstrates the credibility of the PFSG mortgage portfolio. Another investor safeguard is a $1.5 million PAOC Endowment Fund bringing the total amount of investor safeguards to $4.5 million.
PFSG Certificate Mortgage Program 
For over 45 years, the PAOC has operated a certificate mortgage program without any loss of interest and/or principal by investors. Recently, the PAOC created the Pentecostal Financial Services Group (PFSG) in order to make the administration of the certificate mortgages much simpler. At present more than $51 million is invested in PFSG certificate mortgages.

A certificate mortgage investment takes the lending needs of churches out of the hands of the bank and into the hands of people like you -- kingdom-minded people who want to see the growing work of the church in their communities and around the world. A certificate mortgage:

Enables our PAOC churches and other institutions such as Bible colleges to construct new buildings

Is only loaned as a first mortgage to a church or other institution

Offers a higher rate of interest to investors than government GICs

Pays interest semi-annually

Is supported by a $3,000,000 TD Canada Trust line of credit plus a $1.5 million PAOC Endowment Fund.

Can be invested for a one-, two-, three-, four- or five-year term

Pickering Pentecostal Church's Testimony
"Pickering Pentecostal Church (PPC) was given the opportunity to purchase a 7.5 acre commercial property that included a 45,000 square foot building. In order to complete the purchase and do the necessary retro-fit work, mortgage financing was required.
Our Board of Deacons made application to The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada for a $2.7 million certificate mortgage. The application was processed in a minimum amount of time and we were able to make the purchase. Today our growing congregation is housed at The Gathering Place. In those six years the congregation has more than doubled in size from just over 1,000 people to over 2,000 people who today call PPC their church home.
We consider the acquisition of The Gathering Place to be a miraculous provision from God and that the financing arrangements were a major component in the miracle. The interest rate was lower than what was being offered by financial institutions, yet at the same time investors were receiving a fair return on their investment. The PFSG certificate mortgage program allows God's people to make an investment to their advantage and at the same time bless the Kingdom of God!"
