Marilyn is serving as a teacher and coordinator for the coastal region of Kenya in Bible education and theological training for church leaders and untrained pastors. This training is at the grassroots level in English and Kiswahili. Marilyn is located in the port city of Mombasa, which is central to the coastal province. The Transformational Church Leaders(TCL) Development Programme is established as a leadership programme of Pan Africa Christian(PAC) University. It offers English courses in the Certificate and Diploma levels depending on the educational level of the students. The Certificate level is also taught in Kiswahili.There are seven centers at the coast where students gather to be taught God's Word in weekly or block classes. A team of trained and approved national pastors are engaged alongside Marilyn in training church leaders. Pray for God's enablement as they teach in the midst of their pastoral ministry. Marilyn finds that the local pastor is key to teaching God's Word to the church leaders. The teaching of God's Word is making a great impact in the churches of the coastal province. When the Truth brings light, it frees people from non-biblical traditions and the church comes alive and reaches out to others. Pray that as the programme becomes more extensive, that someone will come alongside me to help with the administration of TCL at the coast. Pray for doors to open for students to register and start learning God's Word. There are at present 100 students registered in the programme. Pray that the students will not get discouraged and drop out of learning God's Word. Pray with us that the spiritual transformation and equipping ministry of TCL will be so empowered by the Spirit of God that the strongholds of the enemy will be broken.
