It's a beautiful city full of life, character, personality, culture, fashion, and authentic cuisine. It boasts historic buildings and cobblestone streets beside avant-garde architecture and broad avenues. I'm speaking of downtown Montreal, a Canadian city with immense multicultural  and modern influences.

In the heart of this city there is a rapidly growing subculture, one that originates in the academic worlds of the urban colleges and universities. In this educational hub of the city, the streets are dense with young people who are learning, studying, and seeking to find knowledge and truth.

While it is true that the city is a beautiful place, it is also spiritually dark, particularly at and around the college and university campuses. In those places, spiritual foundations are forcefully challenged and there exists the greatest population of unreached people in the Western world. Here, in Quebec—here, in our nation.

For this reason, I live in this city—"because we must". I live here to build relationships in my urban community and on the campuses of McGill, Concordia and Dawson College. I live to build bridges between the vast student population and the local church, to support existing believers on these campuses, and to see the truth of Christ brought to young adults in this city. The potential and the possibilities are endless. As a partner, you can be part of making this beautiful city radiant with God's glory. Will you?
